REACH
Upon REACH regulation came into force on 1 June 2007, it applies to manufacturers, distributors, importers and downstream users in the supply chain. As substances, preparations and articles are all impacted by REACH, it covers a variety of consumer products such as Electrical Appliances, Lighting Equipments, Furniture, Candles, Home Textile decoration products and etc. At the end of Oct 2008, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published the first Candidate List of “Substances of Very High Concern”(SVHC) and posted at their official website.
